WISHALL (Women In Self Help Action in Lord’s Love) is a non-governmental trust founded in 2004, dedicated to empowering local leaders and creating resilient, sustainable communities. Our primary focus is on uplifting women and young girls by raising awareness of their potential and helping them shape their futures. We implement initiatives that address the holistic well-being—physical, economic, social, and intellectual—of individuals, families, and communities. Additionally, we share our community transformation models by training faith-based organizations and various groups, enabling them to adapt and implement these strategies in their local contexts.

NOVEMBER 2025
OFFICE BEARERS TRAINING
It was a time of learning and experiencing different areas of life which the women were not aware about. It was conducted at WISHALL training centre, Mathur on the month of November. For this training we were privileged to have guests from the organisation named She Is Safe- who served as a resource person for the session. They addressed the issue of human trafficking at global level, focusing on its causes, impact and preventive measures. The session was highly interactive and was full of impactful real life stories. Women were provided with practical guidance on how to respond sensitively and support individuals who share such incidents. Participants shared that they gained clear knowledge and sensitivity towards the issue and were made aware of such heart breaking practices at the society.

Carnival Sale
This is an annual sale conducted by WISHALL, under the banner of PURPLE MERCHANTS, which is basically a platform for under privileged women to sell their hand crafted projects. The sale continued for two days at Don Bosco Illam, Perambur. Many women brought their hand made products like kitchen masalas, pickles, bangles, hand painted tote bags, earrings, neck pieces, eateries like rava laddu, adhirasam, murukku, etc. We have also conducted games to keep people engaged and to entertain children. The products such as bed spreads, pillow covers, hand towels, wall hangings, purses, pouches, bags of different kinds and sizes were also sold by WISHALL, which are produced with the aim of employing vulnerable women in the society. This year’s sale was a great success as we had around 1oo people who came forward to purchase products from us. This has also given us a broad reach beyond our known usual circle.

FESTIVAL OF WOMEN
Festival of women is an event to encourage women to showcase their talents and to create a sense of confidence inn all aspects of their life. The program was conducted on two evenings at different places (Mathur & Tondaiyarpet). There were around 166 women who participated with active engagement and spirit of unity. The event featured a vibrant range of cultural programs presented by women from the Transformation Groups and Young Girls Groups reflecting creativity and spirituality. A special highlight of the program was the sharing of personal success stories, in which women shared their personal experiences of success and the impact of WISHALL in it. The Chief Guests for the program was from ROAM Trust. One of them shared the Chief Guests’ address which was inspiring for the women to do better in their day to day activities. Overall, the Festival Of Women-2025, was a meaningful and empowering experience, marked by confidence-building, spiritual growth and renewed purpose among the women.
